Half-brother to winning hurdler Odello, bred to want a bit further than this but yard have a good strike rate in bumpers here (6-21 last five seasons) and is one of the more likely ones on paper.,
Yard have twice won this in recent years, and know the family this one is from very well. Will want 3m in time but this half-brother to the useful Colin's Sister looks sure to have been readied for this.
More Flat-bred than a few of these, and has to be a question as to whether these conditions will suit on debut. Yard have few runners in this sphere and may be best watched unless market says otherwise.
Brother to hurdles winner Mr Steadfast and there's some encouragement to be taken from the pedigree, but yard not known for bumper winners and this one is likely to be all the better for this experience.
There's a few French hurdles winners in the family which offers some hope, but yard just 1-23 in bumpers over the last five seasons and on that, not hard to look elsewhere.
Full brother Legend To Be won a couple of small point-to-points on good/good to firm and that suggests that this will prove too sharp a test on debut.
Full brother to winning chaser/hurdler Midnight Request, this should prove a suitable test for his introduction and the market will be the best guide as to his chance, with the yard also having Baby Ted as a contender here.
Little encouragement to be taken from the pedigree and yard rarely have runners in this sphere. Makes little appeal.
Relatively cheap purchase, half-brother to the useful hurdler Gold Patrol and yard do get winners in this sphere. Market likely to prove best guide, but on paper, others preferred.

As ever in these events, the market should prove informative, particularly as Nigel Twiston-Davies, who likes to win this, introduces two - BABY TED and Midnight Trouble, both of whom make some appeal on paper. The former is given the vote, coming from a very useful family of chasers and hurdlers, and can take this at the expense of Allonok, who comes from a yard that like a bumper winner here.
