Well into the veteran stage yet retains plenty of enthusiasm for the job, but you've got to go back two years to find his last win and this trip probably a bit further than he'd like these days. Best watched after an absence (normally needs a run).

Form figures not quite as bad as they appear at first glance, not beaten far at Lingfield last time but that was over 10f. Has shaped like he's worth a go at this trip and may improve for it, but bottom line is that he'll have to. Risky.

Got his head in front (over 10f) here in September but twice a beaten favourite under similar conditions since then, and may not be one to fully trust. Steps up in trip here too, and it all looks a bit too much to take on trust. Others preferred.

Ran much better than her seventh at Lingfield last time would imply, bang in contention until late in the day and only weakened close home. However, this trip asks new questions of her and although a good run wouldn't surprise, others preferred.

Form has fallen right away this winter and efforts at this trip have left plenty to be desired too. No realistic chance in current form and needs to turn things around before being considered.

Hard to find many positives from his seven starts so far and didn't do any better on first run for new yard at Kempton last time. New headgear and a tongue tie given a go but still hard to make a solid case for.

Beaten big distances all starts and hard to see where the necessary improvement is coming from to win this, although half-brother was an all-weather winner, so it's possible he may improve for the surface switch.

Has beaten only one horse home in three starts and even from this opening basement mark, very hard to fancy.

Not one of these comes into this with a solid profile and all of them have a question or two to answer. In the hope that this trip brings about a bit more improvement, UDOGO might be the answer to a moderate contest. Dibloam at least knows how to win and if refinding his C&D winning form, should be in the places. Clearance has done next to nothing but could improve for the switch to sand, given his breeding, and a bit of money for him might inspire more confidence.
