Ran once for Paul Webber in a 1m4f French bumper on soft ground in 2016 and showed a bit of promise in the process. Doesn't look to have been the easiest to train and now headgear on for stable debut/reappearance. Market check suggested.

Half-brother to two juvenile sprint winners on the Flat out of an unraced half-sister to Listed-placed 1m2½f/1m4f winner Green Light. Stable yet to have a bumper winner and he looks one to take a watching brief over.
Showed a bit of promise on his first two starts in bumpers when with Arthur Moore and is out of a bumper winner. Stable yet to have a winner in this discipline, but is in good form and could elicit some improvement.

Sent off 50-1 on debut in Newcastle bumper last season. Weakened out of it after being held up there, eventually beaten 72L. Slightly better ground plus that experience and headgear may all help. Stable 3-11 in bumpers this season so check market.

Not sold as a three-year-old. Half-brother to three French winners, one over 1m4f Flat and 2m1f hurdles and another of a 2m1f chase. Stable 2-13 in bumpers this season, so another one to check in the market for clues.

First foal of a point-to-point winner. Grandam a 2m2f hurdle winning full-sister to 2m4f-3m hunter chase winner Blyth Brook. Stable without a bumper winner in several seasons and searching for first jumps winner of this season. Looks best watched.
Not sold as a three-year-old. Full-sister to bumper winner Peculiar Places. Dam an Italian maiden half-sister to high-class bumper/2m-2m5f hurdle winner Dunguib. Interesting with mares' allowance and 5lb claim. Market check.
Beaten 8L by Heartasia (runs over hurdles in 1.00 race) in a Kelso bumper (good) in debut in May. Was 33-1 for that race, so that was a very promising effort. Stable not in bad form and 1-3 in bumpers this season, so she could have a big say.

Cost Godolphin 90,000 gns as a foal but sold without a run for £11,000 at three. Out of unplaced dam at 1m2f, full-sister to 1m juvenile Group 1 winner/Leger second Armiger. Stable 0-49 in bumpers last five years so looks one to watch on debut.

15:30 Musselburgh - 3 January 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An interesting way to end the card and one in which PAPER PROMISE is taken to build on the promise of her good Kelso debut from last May and go one better this time. James Ewart has two runners worth noting in Detonate, who ran well enough on his only start so far and Marocchino, while the same applies to the Lucinda Russell-trained entries Blue Baton, from the family of former Champion Bumper winner Dunguib and fellow newcomer Thepensionfund. Sharon Watt is among the winners and although she has yet to break her duck in this discipline, we could see an improved effort from Keepinupwitdjones.
  1. Paper Promise
  2. Blue Baton
  3. Keepinupwitdjones
