Ended last season out of form and after an encouraging flat run it has been the same story this term in two runs over fences. Jumping has been far from fluent in either and that is a big worry.
Last of three finishers behind the smart West Approach on chasing debut here. Tailed-off throughout there but this a considerably weaker contest so should do better although handicap probably high enough.
Built on a promising chase debut when winning last time out over 2m3½f at Chepstow on similarly heavy ground to expected here. 6lb rise looks very generous and has a big chance to follow up on ground he will love.
Always been a consistent sort so two poor runs from three starts this season surprising. Now 6lb below last winning mark and will handle the ground but must prove he still has what it takes.
Best effort over fences to date latest when third at Chepstow beaten 6¾L despite not jumping great. Appreciates this sort of ground and each way contender here.
25/1 winner of a 2m7½f novices handicap at Lingfield two starts ago but pulled up in other two starts this term although latest due to jockey injury. Remains of interest on this mark but big step back in trip a question mark.
Lone chase win came here but it was a two-runner race on good to firm over two years ago. Generally seems to like quick ground so will hate this and returns from a break. Completion far from guaranteed.
Forecasts
Lord Bryan (9/5), Major Hindrance (4/1), Cap Horner (11/2), Le Boizelo (6/1), Dance Floor King (8/1), Allee Bleue (17/2), Dragon's Den (11/1)
LORD BRYAN has a good chance to complete a quick double here after winning nicely on similarly bottomless ground at Chepstow latest. Cap Horner must prove he is as effective over this sort of trip but in such ground they are hardly likely to go off fast and his stamina could be vital. Major Hindrance remains capable of better over fences so he isn't ruled out either.
