Progressive individual over hurdles and fences and impressive at Plumpton on penultimate start. Confidently ridden last time but was held when hampered by a late faller. Current mark may be up with events.
Won his bumper a year ago but looked a weak finisher in subsequent starts. Backed ahead of his chase debut two months ago, but stopped quickly and was reported to have a breathing problem. Tongue-tie fitted and the market will be informative.
A winner over fences in France and went well on both his starts over fences for his current yard. Shaped much better than the bare result last time out when forcing a strong pace at Carlisle; this shorter trip will suit if he handles the ground.
Five-time winner who signalled he was nearing his best last time. Dropped in class and has a good record in this grade. Conditions to suit and went well on sole start here

KEEL HAUL looked as though he would be adding to his tally soon when producing his best run for a while last time. He is one of the few who looks well handicapped and who will appreciate the forecast conditions. Argentix is a potential improver, as is Boagrius who had breathing problems last time.
