Stepped up on previous efforts this season when finishing 8L third over 2m7f at Haydock (heavy) last time out. Blinkers worn for the first time on that occasion are retained today.
Not convinced with his jumping since switching to fences including when 15L fifth at Lingfield (2m4f, soft) last time out. Well handicapped on his hurdles form.
Placed twice over hurdles in France but pulled up in a novice handicap chase at Warwick (2m4f, good-to-soft) last time out and probably best watched at present.
Successful over C&D on good ground in spring 2015 but disappointing on his return from nearly 18 months off the track at Exeter (2m7f, soft) last month. Has won off higher marks in the past.
Successful twice and put in his best effort in two chase outings when finishing third in a first time visor (retained) at Wetherby (3m, soft) earlier this month. Races off a 3lb lower mark today.
Just touched off over an extended 2m6f here on good-to-soft ground in May. Well held in two chase starts over 3m2f here last month and this trip looks more suitable.

David Dennis' CRANK EM UP is taken to register his first victory over fences at the third time of asking today. The selection stepped up on his chase debut when finishing third last time out and he can claim this at the chief expense of Hansupfordetroit who should appreciate the drop in trip today while Allthegear No Idea can finish third having placed here in the past.
