French Listed winner (Auteuil, May) who has continued her progressing since joining this stable, running out an unchallenged 4L winner of the Listed Wensleydale Hurdle at Wetherby last month (2m good to soft). Hard to fault and proven on the ground.
Her form figures over hurdles read 2,1,1, and whilst having contested weaker races than this over in Ireland, she arrives race-fit off the back of a Kempton AW success on ground she handles. Both jumps successes came when linked with this rider.
Modest on the Flat, with her sole success coming in a 1m Listowel Nursery in September 2016 (75 rated), but has a pedigree for hurdling, and did as well as could be expected when 15L second to Mitchouka on hurdles bow at Punchestown last month.
Left Sheila Lavery after finishing third at Roscommon in September (Flat), and has jumping relations in her pedigree. Made a smooth winning hurdles/stable debut at Leicester recently (2m good to soft), but this represents another step up the ladder.
A two time Flat winner for Mick Channon; most recent success in a 1m2f claimer at Windsor in July. Placed on both starts over hurdles for this stable (Fontwell and Stratford), but this is far tougher and she looks well out of her depth.
An eight race Flat maiden for Ralph Beckett, she was sold for £21,000 in September. Did okay when a runner up on her hurdles/stable debut at Fakenham, but readily brushed aside by Hillcrest Fire at Leicester. Likely to struggle.

MALAYA is a filly who has very much been there and got the t-shirt at Listed level, already a dual winner in this grade at Auteuil and Wetherby. An all the way scorer in the Wensleydale Hurdle at Wetherby last month, she meets a couple more rivals on this occasion, and whilst not exactly prime betting material at the projected odds, should comfortably out-class this opposition before competing in stronger races leading towards the Cheltenham Festival in March. As the market indicates, Irish raider Grey Waters is the chief threat, and is currently unbeaten when paired up with Shane Shortall, so should prove best of the rest.
