Age: 4|  Weight: 11-5| J: N D Fehily| T: H Fry
1/1
Made all for an impressive success on debut and represents a yard with a 40% strike rate here. Will be hard to beat despite a penalty.
2
Horse silk
Densfirth
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: S Bowen| T: P F Nicholls
7/1
Flemensfirth gelding fetched €34,000 and is out of a dam who is a half-sister to Denman. Stable runners have to be respected here and the market will tell us more.
3
Horse silk
Eur Gone Westt120
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe
18/1
Sent of favourite for point-to-point debut when showing a willing attitude and a fair amount of pace in front. Joined current yard for £65,000 but they are not the force they once were in this type of event and only mid-division on debut.
4
Horse silk
66/1
€6,000 yearling by Grandera and the first foal of a moderate dam. Stable's second string and easy to oppose.
5
Horse silk
14/1
Showed promise on bumper debut and stuck to his task well but not enough to be fancied for win purposes and trainer has a low-strike rate in this sphere
6
Horse silk
Maratt44
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: Kevin Jones(5)| T: J W Mullins
50/1
Bought for £32,000 his dam was placed on the Flat in France and is a half-sister to a French hurdle/chase winner. No show on Worcester debut and this could be a better race.
7
Horse silk
28/1
Led out unsold at £9,500 at Ascot in March having beaten one other finisher in a Garnons point-to-point. Would be surprising if he proved good enough.
8
Horse silk
Snuff Box585
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: L Treadwell| T: Miss V Williams
14/1
Bought for £9,000 after winning an Eyton-On Severn point-to-point 19 months ago. A five year record in bumpers of 8-38 shows the yard can get one ready for these races, so worthy of a market check.
9
Horse silk
40/1
Half-brother to an AW bumper winner for a stable with an 8-91 record in this type of race. The yard's horses are improving for a run and he may be one for the long term.
10
Horse silk
3/1
Bought for £52,000 as a three-year-old. Full-brother to a bumper winner and half-brother to three other winners including Barney Dwan. Yard 7-25 in bumpers this season and jockey booking looks positive.
11
Horse silk
200/1
Apple Tree gelding, and a half-brother to two winning point-to-pointers, represents a yard without a winner since the 2015-16 season.
12
Horse silk
150/1
Makes little appeal on pedigree and yard are without a winner over the past two seasons. Hard to see him mixing it with this company.
13
Horse silk
Annie Probush138
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-5| J: C Gethings(3)| T: C J Down
200/1
Yard not renowned for success in this sphere. Tailed off on debut and hard to see him playing more than a supporting role.
14
Horse silk
Audora67
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-5| J: James Best| T: M Hill
100/1
Soon struggling on debut when sent off at 100/1. This is a much stronger race and she makes no appeal.
15
Horse silk
66/1
Bought for £18,500 after going down in a photo finish for a point-to-point. Sister to useful chaser Carriganog and also related to a bumper winner. Dam also won a bumper so she may have the tools to produce an upset.
16
Horse silk
25/1
Picked up at Cheltenham in April for £20,000 after landing a Ballynoe point-to-point. The form looks solid but her pedigree would have her needing further and stable are just 5-69 in this type of race.

15:45 Exeter - 8 December 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

CARIBERT has the benefit of previous experience and sets a high standard having been so impressive on his debut. His stable have an outstanding record with their runners here and it will take something useful to beat him. Densfirth and Time To Move On are nicely bred newcomers from top yards, whilst Snuff Box and Save The Pennies are two of the more interesting recruits from the point-to-point field.
  1. Caribert
  2. Time To Move On
  3. Densfirth
