Won a French claimer over flights last time out by 11L before joining this yard, made all to score over 2m1f (good) there beating two rivals. Tongue tie added on British debut and has been found a good opportunity.

Broadway Dreams24
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-12| J: M G Nolan| T: M Blake

Maiden on the Flat, albeit showed some promise in four starts, hasn't threatened in two starts over timber thus far and watching brief seems safest for now.

8/1
Fair Flat maiden, travelled with purpose on hurdles bow at Huntingdon last month (2m, good) before finishing fifth of nine (beaten under 10L). Rare hurdles runner for yard, 0-11 in 2017 so far.

Horse silk
10/1
Maiden after five starts on the Flat, makes jumping debut in this and worth keeping an eye on for trainer with 25% strike rate over hurdles this year (3-12).

More experienced on the Flat than a good few of these, winning Brighton in September over 1m2f. Make hurdles debut and market may reveal expectations.

Winner of 2m2f low-grade Chepstow handicap in August on final start for Sir Mark Prescott. Joined a good yard for switch to this sphere and unlikely to be found wanting for stamina.

Staff College29
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-12| J: J J Burke| T: H Spiller
5/1
Useful on the Flat, made a promising start over hurdles at Huntingdon (2m, good) despite not always jumping fluently. Finished third (ahead of Golconda Prince) and entitled to build on that now

War At Sea47
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-12| J: Adam Wedge| T: A Stronge
8/1
Promising maiden for David Simcock on the Flat, entitled to have decent ambitions on this line-up if adapting to this new challenge first time up.

Glorvina14
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-11| J: Harry Bannister| T: C J Mann| OR:  110
10/3
Winner on the Flat and scored on hurdles debut at Cartmel (2m1f, good to soft) in August (runner-up scored since). Treading water since in three starts but jumping experience an advantage in this field.

Forecasts

Oxford Blu (11/4), Glorvina (10/3), Staff College (5/1), Joycetick (6/1), War At Sea (8/1), Golconda Prince (8/1), Lazarus (10/1), Oceanus (25/1), Broadway Dreams (33/1)

15:30 Fakenham - 4 December 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Oxford Blu is sure to have stamina on his side having won over 2m2f on his final start for Sir Mark Prescott and he is respected starting his jumps career for a good yard now. Staff College (third) and Golconda Prince (fifth) both showed hints of promise in the same race at Huntington on hurdles bow and can build on those efforts now while Glorvina has already won over timber at Cartmel but has rather been going sideways lately. It might prove worth taking a chance with French import JOYCETICK, an easy winner of a selling hurdle last time out over this sort of trip. That form is hard to assess, but this isn't exactly strong and he might prove up to taking the finale.
  1. Joycetick
  2. Oxford Blu
  3. Glorvina
