Only moderate over hurdles but already doing better over fences, performing with credit against the useful Presenting Percy at Galway in particular. Trip and ground ideal and that bit of chase experience may stand him in good stead here.
Performed mainly in low-level handicaps over hurdles and hard to see him getting among the principals after a middling first effort over fences at Cork.
Some excellent form in novice hurdles and thought good enough to take his chance in the Neptune last season, although was well beaten in the end. Pedigree screams fences and will take plenty of beating if jumping fluently on debut today.
Not a bad effort against Presenting Percy at Punchestown in October but even that needs improving on here, and there's questions against his current wellbeing and this trip. Others readily preferred.
Classy hurdler that has seemed to be getting the hang of things over fences, improving on his Galway debut to run the high-class Monalee to 10L at Punchestown latest. Trip and ground ideal and looks certain to play a part.
Has progressed nicely over hurdles and ran up to his form on his comeback run here last month. Half brother to useful chaser Minella On Line and likely to do well over fences this winter. Not ruled out, with conditions no problem.
Ran as well as he has done for a while when second to Magic Of Light over this C&D last time out, but a surprise if that form is good enough to take this. May pick up some minor money, but an unlikely winner.
Sutton Manor (7/4), Livelovelaugh (7/4), The Storyteller (11/4), Champoleon (14/1), Tinos Tank (25/1), El Vasco (66/1), Pakman (66/1)
LIVELOVELAUGHSutton Manor and The Storyteller represent Gordon Elliott and there's little to choose between them - preference today is for Sutton Manor, who has some chase experience already and should find this a suitable test. Champoleon might not be far away either.
