Holding his form well and not been unduly punished for a successful little spell. Good effort to finish second at Kempton earlier in the month and this is a similar level of competition. Now 2lb higher but sound claims in a weak race.
Dropped to a handy mark but form has taken a bit of dive over the course of the season. Not difficult to oppose on his first try away from Wolverhampton since September 2015.
Has won over C&D but is another that appears to be in the handicapping wilderness just now. Another ease in the ratings might make him competitively weighted in the near future though.
Very well handicapped on old form but yet to really convince this is his optimum trip and losing sequence starting to become habitual. Needs to act quickly to stop the rot but getting a bit long in the tooth for dramatic change.
Form just fair in maidens but open to improvement now upped in trip and tried in a handicap for the first time. Wroth a betting check.
Has a 1m2f win to his name but has more often than not come up short of the mark over this trip. Been placed over C&D, so feasible he could take a share of the minor honours if everything went his way.
Plenty of experience but plenty of miles clocked up since last win. Dropped to a handy mark but another who seems to have lost his way just at present.
Put in a handful of decent efforts of late and, barring a below par display on turf at Doncaster in October, he holds solid claims on recent form. Highly interesting if supported.
Took advantage of a lenient mark to win at Chelmsford on his penultimate start and not disgraced when fourth at the same track last time. Up in trip here and needs to his stamina.
7lb below his last winning mark and not the force he was - others look to be far more convincing and have more to offer from a punting perspective.
Plenty of winning form on the AW track here and on a decent enough rating. Reverts to his favoured surface having been freshen up by a break and dangerous to underestimate.
Lightly raced and coped well on his only previous try over C&D back in May. Not so convincing in two starts since but feasible there's more to, so merits a betting check his yard is well represented through the card this afternoon.
Won twice over 1m here but copes well with this trip too. Latest start a respectable effort that created the impression this extra yardage will suit. Worthy contender for a place if all goes well.

Top weight does SUITSUS no favours but this lack strength in depth, so the burden may not be as troublesome on this occasion. The gelding is in the minority of those that may have a bit more to offer and need only run to the level of his latest start to take a strong role in the eventual outcome. Silver Dixie appeals as one that may have a bit more to offer, while Attain likes this C&D and cannot confidently be rules out now he's back on a happy hunting ground. Bayston Hill has previously been placed in a similar race at this course and also appeals as an each-way option.
