Regular here and this 7f trip seems to be his optimum, tends to run in and out but capable of defying current mark on a good day and first-time visor may help him add to record of 1-6 at the track.

Best effort came when head second to Peny Arcade in a C&D maiden in November last, only one run this year (Redcar, 1m2f, good to firm) in May, which was poor, and returns from 166-day layoff now.

Has been in decent form since late summer and gained a win over 7f (good to soft) at Catterick in September. Decent effort since over 1m at Haydock in heavy ground that may have stretched his stamina, not ruled out back over this trip.

C&D winner in March, ran well again over track and trip a week later. Just two turf runs since, both over further and both bitterly disappointing. Returns to AW on previous winning mark and back over 5f, not beyond the realms he'll bounce back.

Glimpses of promise but proving a bit frustrating so far and remains winless from 10 starts. Ran with credit in three AW maidens, including this C&D, though doesn't appear especially well handicapped for this based on turf form since.

Has twice won in selling company over 6f at Catterick this year but form in six previous starts on the AW is nothing to write home about and has a bit to prove tackling 7f for the first time.

2014 was the scene of her last win and she's had 27 starts since then without ever really looking as though she is going to take advantage of her falling mark. Held here over 6f last month and now upped in trip with another couple of pounds back.

Form has nosedived completely in five runs since winning at Musselburgh in April 2016 (7f, good to firm) for previous handler. Returns to AW off career-low handicap mark however, so interesting to see how market judges chance after a break.

Shock winner of a Class 6 Musselburgh contest over 7f (good to soft) last month, not repeated in either run since. 0-10 on AW surfaces and three outings here around turn of the year were decidedly poor. Safest to search elsewhere on form.

Admirable nine-year-old tends to pop up every so often and win (8-77 career record), and did so at Redcar (6f, good to soft) in August from a mark of 51. No AW win since 2014, but has been an infrequent runner on these surfaces since then.

Career record is 3-40 but no win in over two years. Busy summer has yielded few positives and forced handicapper to relent by 24lb on turf performances. On a basement mark for AW debut, but form remains the big concern.

33/1 winner of similar event over a mile here in March, a lone AW success from 14 attempts. Nothing in nine runs since merits suggestion a repeat is imminent, has been off since July.

Winner just once from 34 starts (over 5f on good to firm in July 2015) and well beaten at Southwell (6f, AW) 13 days sporting a hood for the first time (retained now). Due relief from handicapper after this, needs it.

A nine-race maiden who generally struggles to beat too many rivals home, failing to do so at all in three most recent turf outings. AW debut, tackling 7f for the first time - there are safer options in this line-up.

Forecasts

Gun Case (11/10), Bonnie Gals (8/1), Someone Exciting (8/1), Chaucer's Tale (9/1), Searanger (10/1), African Grey (11/1), Nelson's Bay (16/1), Stardrifter (20/1), Willbeme (20/1), Gaelic Wizard (25/1), Arizona Sunrise (33/1), Let Right Be Done (33/1), George Bailey (50/1), Nifty Niece (66/1)

Not many of this crew inspire confidence and so GUN CASE might be just about the safest option. He was narrowly denied over C&D on his penultimate start and while his most recent run was less pleasing, the application of new headgear may help him to get the job done now. Like many of these, Gaelic Wizard isn't reliable but he is capable of winning and hasn't had many chances on the AW of late. A turf winner in August, he could go well. Someone Exciting should be suited by this drop in trip and while Arizona Sunrise has been poor on the turf lately, he's on a career-low handicap mark now back in this sphere and finds a weakish contest if he can exploit it.
