Finished third in both starts to date over 7f at Ayr and 1m½f at Hamilton. Stoutly bred sort should keep improving as he goes further but he has pulled hard in both starts to date and that would be the main concern.

Debutant by Mastercraftsman was an 85,000gns yearling. Half-brother to three winners all of which stayed at least 1m. One would imagine trainer will be keen to win a race named after his great stayer and appealing enough pedigree to merit respect.

Arguably made slight progress from first run when 8L ninth of 12 on the AW at Kempton latest. Ought to appreciate this extra furlong and looked as if he would at Kempton but others have much stronger form.

By sprinter Dandy Man but out of a mare effective up to 2m. Ran three moderate races over sprint distances to date. Dramatically upped in trip here so hopefully has inherited plenty of mother's stamina. Sprint form vastly short of the required.

Much improved when 2¾L fourth of six at Goodwood over this trip last time out after a modest debut. Employed front-running tactics there and not much competition for the pacemaker role here so could go well with similar ride.

Ran with plenty of promise when second of 10 at Leicester on debut over 1m. As a daughter of Sea The Stars she should appreciate the extra furlong and trainer's horses generally improve for longer trips. Looks the one they all have to beat.

In a race named after his great stayer Mark Johnston saddles two here and both have stable jockeys on board so there is no guarantee as to which is his first string but the lone run of SEA YOUMZAIN was very promising and upped in trip she should be even better so she gets the nod. Supporters of I'm Improving will be hoping he lives up to his name and any improvement would put him right there. If he learns to settle he should soon be winning races. We Know improved from his first run and looks another who ought to go well.
