Ran a promising race on debut at Yarmouth last time out (7f, good to firm), despite not getting a clear passage. Better can be expected this time.
Finished last of all when sent off unfancied in a Doncaster maiden for his first run last time out, and looks set to play another minor role here.
Has run two fine races at Newmarket so far, both over 7f, and both of which have suggested he should be in with a strong chance of winning a race of this nature. Step up in trip should help.
Has only beaten one rival home in two races so far and is difficult to build a case for here based on that form.
Made his debut over this trip at Sandown last time out when shaping as if further should suit in time, and he seems a place contender at best here.
Never really landed a blow at Newmarket last month on his racecourse debut, but is in good hands and should come on for that run.
Probably ran to only a similar level compared to his debut when finishing second at Navan last time out. Up in trip here but seems to have plenty to find.

The form shown by DUKHAN in two starts at Newmarket so far over shorter puts him right in the mix here, and the fact that on pedigree he should improve for this step up in trip only increases enthusiasm. Hugo Palmer's charge seems to have plenty of talent and this could be a great opportunity for him to get off the mark. Mark Johnston's recent Kempton second Communique and Cracker Factor, who benefits from the services of Ryan Moore, are others to consider.
