Yet to tackle a sand surface, so has that as a question mark against him, and recent form does rather suggest he's gone off the boil for the time being. Possibly happier at 6f than 5f as well and others make more convincing cases.
Not beaten far at York this summer (better grade race than this) but some pretty moderate efforts since, although may have needed latest run after a short break. Looks a risky proposition at present and others preferred.
Has been progressing nicely this summer/autumn and kept that going with his latest close second at Catterick a fortnight ago. Drop back to 5f no issue here, has form on Tapeta (at Wolverhampton) and must be a player again here.
Coming back down to a winning mark and has plenty of C&D form that puts her in the firing line here, but not seen out since finishing well beaten at York in June and record fresh is very patchy. Chance if fit, and market may guide.
Just the one win in 14 starts and new yard struggling to find the key to him at present, with two heavy defeats lately. Can only be watched until showing more.
Has suddenly refound some form and unlucky not to win one of his last two starts, suffering two narrow defeats. Mark has shot up as a result but still well handicapped on best form, so has to be a serious contender for top honours here.
Doing little to suggest he's about to strike and drop back down to 5f not necessarily a positive either. Yard form very patchy too and others make far more appeal.
Has had a couple of tries on sand surfaces and hasn't excelled in either. Has plenty of speed and drop back to 5f not an issue,but likely to be taken on up front and that may hamper his chances. Others preferred.
Acts on the surface and now back on her last winning mark after a series of moderate efforts, so has those plus points going for her, but recent runs do suggest she's rather lost her way and present and she needs to bounce back to her best form here
In good form over this C&D, a winner here in September and then ran to that mark when a close third (over 6f) here next time out. Upped in grade here, and takes on speedier sorts, which may find him out, but respected nonetheless.

This looks a very good opportunity for SEE THE SUN to score. He's been knocking at the door lately and this looks a little less taxing, so can make all at the expense of Liberatum, who may try and throw down a challenge late, and Poppy In The Wind, for whom a market move may prove significant.
