Bidding to complete a five-timer when finishing last of five over 2m5f at Sedgefield (soft) in March. Races off a mark 6lb higher than for his C&D success on soft ground in February and would likely appreciate any overnight rain.
Six time winner including over 3m1f here last November. Running well in recent starts and beaten just a head over this trip at Uttoxeter (soft) in July. One for the shortlist for a stable with a 16% strike-rate (5/32) of late.
Listed handicap chase winner at Newton Abbot in August last year but has failed to wince since and well held in two starts since finishing third over 2m4f at Perth (good) in July. Races off a mark 2lb higher than for his latest victory.
Good effort in finishing runner-up over 3m at Fakenham (good) in May and put in a fair performance over the same trip at Haydock subsequently. Races off a mark 3lb lower than when pulling up at Sandown in April.
Finished a close third over an extended 2m3f at Chepstow (good-to-firm) in April but held in three subsequent outings including when sent off favourite at Fontwell in first time cheekpieces (blinkers return today) last time out.
Successful twice this year including over an extended 2m6f at Stratford (good) in September. Ran well to finish fourth from out of the handicap in a Listed handicap at Market Rasen (good-to-soft) subsequently and is an interesting runner today.
Five time winner including over C&D on good ground last time out. Left clear when three rivals departed on that occasion and is one to note off the same mark for today's seasonal debut.
Successful twice in December last year but well held in the main since. Beaten 7L into fifth at Huntingdon (good) earlier this month but now races off a mark 5lb lower than for his latest success.
Point-to-point winner and successful in his first two starts over hurdles back in 2015. Had just three outings since winning at Exeter (soft) in November of that year and likely to strip fitter for his Worcester third on seasonal debut last month.

The selection races off the same mark as he did when left clear to win last time out and with the ground also in his favour he can get the better of Gentleman John who has been running well in competitive contests this summer while bottom weight Mille Nautique, one of a number of pace angles in this contest can claim third.
