Record of four wins from 12 in 6f AW handicaps. Ran well despite being a little unlucky at Wolverhampton two starts back but looked to struggle a bit at Kempton since and may just be a little high in the handicap at present.

Recent double has seen her quickly climb nearly a stone in the handicap and would need further improvement now. Declared to run on Monday at Musselburgh.

2¼L eighth off same mark a week ago at Kempton followed two good runs for new yard. Happiest when able to lead so likely to be flat out early from stall one. Could take a bit of catching.

Impossible to gauge lone run on AW given she was 100/1. Won twice at Bath since then and clearly enjoys a slick surface. 5lb higher than last winning mark for AW return and suspect she will find it beyond her.

Somewhat temperamental and clearly a difficult ride so 7lb claimer could have his work cut out. Not seen since disappointing as favourite in August and now over two years since he last won.

Never raced over less than 7f but showed some early speed at Kempton last time so perhaps hoping to utilise that here. Overall form is poor and as hard as it is to pass one over from this yard at present he is tough to make a case for.

Took advantage of tumbling handicap to win at Bath latest by a nose. Rated higher on the AW (by 3lb) but his record on this surface shows his liking for it so not impossible he can follow up.

Ended a near two year wait for a win at Chelmsford latest. Still 26lb below his career high despite a 3lb rise so if that boosts his confidence he could be capable of another big run.

Forecasts

Red Alert (5/2), Qatari Riyals (4/1), Born To Finish (9/2), Langley Vale (9/2), Logi (9/2), Red Stripes (13/2), Desert Grey (7/1), Hamidans Girl (15/2), Coronation Cottage (12/1), Bahamian Heights (25/1)

17:05 Lingfield - 18 October 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

There is little to separate Qatari Riyals and Logi based on last week's run and both could play a part here. It may however be worth taking a chance on RED STRIPES. He would have near lapped these off this weight in his prime and at five-years-old, there is no reason he shouldn't retain the majority of his ability. With his win last time reminding him of the way to the winner's enclosure he can start to repay connections perseverance.
  1. Red Stripes
  2. Qatari Riyals
  3. Logi
