Dam won four times on AW at up to 1m4f so longer trip and first time on surface should both be handled. Won well on debut at Windsor before tough Listed assignment latest. Should make presence felt.

Not looked an obvious sort to be stepped up in trip so far and dam and her progeny all sprinters. That said leading new sire is a big stamina influence and top trainer rarely gets it wrong. Bare form thus far a little short.

22,000 gns Yearling by first season sire Farhh. Dam won up to 1m4f and half-brother Lawless Secret won over this trip. Yard's newcomers generally clued up and particularly effective with runners at 1m plus so can't be ruled out.

Not seen since debut over 7f at Newmarket in July when he was a 13L sixth of seven. Unraced dam from a family generally effective at around 1m and sire not a known stamina influence either so this trip a surprise.

Half-brother to several winners, and made late gains off a slow pace on recent debut at Kempton, so should do better, but already gelded and fitting of a visor on second start hints that he may not be straightforward.

Recent fourth after gelding operation probably his best to date when markedly upped in trip here. Goes further still today but plenty of stamina on dam side so no reason he can't handle it.

Raced extremely keenly in both starts over dramatically different trips. Won't be able to show his capabilities unless he learns to settle.

Upped by 3f in trip here. Dam side is quite speedy but sires progeny often stay further than he did so no surprise if this another middle distance horse. Well beaten into last on debut on turf. Can only improve but tough to make case for yet.

A real eye-catcher on debut at Kempton when she recovered from being near tailed off to finish fifth and was flying at the finish. With longer trip and valuable experience to help she looks a real danger here. Top jockey booked.

The lone winner in the contest Yabass sets the standard here and he should have no problems with this longer trip. He may find however that conceding weight all round is tough especially to IMMINENT APPROACH. The lone filly in the field made a more than notable debut at Kempton and looked one to follow particularly with this step up in trip likely to bring about further improvement. Debutant Elegiac hails from a yard who does well with newcomers here and merits respect first time up.

  2. Yabass
  3. Elegiac
