Enjoys quick ground and likely to get that here, looked most progressive over hurdles last season and slammed Thisonetime on final start at Sedgefield. Should be fine over fences and does stay this trip, but yard a bit quiet at present.
Point-to-point winner that progressed well over hurdles last year, highly tried in a Grade 2 at Doncaster but an easy winner on final start at Fontwell. Looks all over a stayer and fences should improve him again, so has to be taken seriously here.
Stays well and likely ground fine, but some temperament creeping into his work and faded a bit tamely at Stratford on chase debut earlier in the month. Possible he needed that, but cheekpieces on today, and with yard quiet, has questions to answer.
Has plenty of chase experience, which stands him in good stead here, three times a winner in the spring (including here) but this trip will ask a new question of him, and he did need the run after a break last year. On balance, others preferred.
Capable in this grade over hurdles, although overall profile a bit hit-and-miss, but handles a right-handed track well and likes quick ground. Bred to improve over fences and ran okay on return from break at Stratford, so not ruled out.
Most consistent over hurdles last year, if not necessarily progressive, but stays well and handles most ground, although may prefer a bit more cut than he's likely to get here. Not always the most fluent so needs to jump well to hold best chance.
Has some chase experience, stays this trip and handles good ground fine, so has some plus points, but wasn't progressing in the spring and yard not firing as they normally do around this time of the year.
Forecasts
Dingo Dollar (13/8), Wicked Willy (9/2), Nightline (5/1), Abbreviate (13/2), Soupy Soups (7/1), Beau Du Brizais (14/1), Meldrum Lad (20/1)
DINGO DOLLAR looks a proper staying type and should improve for fences this season. He can make a winning start over fences at the expense of Beau Du Brizais, who could be a danger if on a going day, Nightline may be able to put his experience to good use to claim a medal.
