Yet to win over this far, though was beaten just 1¾L over the trip at Ripon (good to firm) in May when 4lb higher. Unable to replicate that level of form since then and has a little to prove at present.
All three of his successes have been over 1m4f, including at Pontefract in August. Just 2lb higher than that today and likely to get the strong pace that he will need to bring stamina into play, though off the boil just lately.
Won a similar contest over C&D (good to soft) last month. Nudged up 4lb for that, he was beaten almost 5L by Dance King at Pontefract last time, but had no luck in running and could go well under his claimer.
3lb worse off with Carnageo here for beating him almost 5L at Haydock last time, when he coped with the conditions better. Has been held from today's mark whenever he has been this high previously, so likely the same fate will eventuate.
Racked up a four-timer in the spring at 1m1f-1m2f. Held by the handicapper since then. He is now beginning to relent, but the gelding does have a bit to prove from this mark and in this grade.
Has been a great servant with 13 wins, largely over this trip, all on ground with good in the description. 6lb higher than the most recent of those, though went well from 3lb higher over C&D last month. Each-way claims if in that form.
Has been unable to add to his Haydock debut win from last year, though was almost back at that level of form when runner-up at that venue last month. Heavy ground probably to blame for his below par recent run, though would still prefer some ease.
Scored over this trip on debut last year, though has only raced over hurdles since then for Dan Skelton. First start for new yard and handicap debut to boot here. Not easy to assess how fair his mark is after one run, so check the market.
Well beaten on both visits here but that has been no barrier to success and he has picked up three wins already this year. Just 2lb higher than most recent of those at Ripon (1m1f, good) in June, though may struggle to get home with a true gallop.
Has run at Ayr in 10 of his 14 starts, winning three of those at up to 1m2f and all on soft ground. Looks to be in the grip of the handicapper for the moment and although he acts on good ground, rain would be preferable.
Perhaps not been the easiest to train, having missed a year after his debut win at Thirsk 15 months ago. Resumed nicely enough here in July (1m, good to soft), but beating a retreat since. Marks looks attractive and may aid a revival.
Won lower grade races at both Nottingham (good) and Brighton (good to firm) over this sort of trip in the summer and cheekpieces helped with his best effort yet at Newbury last time. Up 2lb more and in grade, so more needed in visor.
Sees out this trip, though arguably better over 1m. Acts on any ground and clearly a few pounds below his previous form this term. Managed a decent effort from this mark at Haydock (1m, heavy) two starts ago, but not ticking enough boxes at present.
Scored here over 1m4f (good) in July and handles any ground. 1lb lower today, but has been competitive on several occasions from higher since then and if they go an honest gallop then he won't be stopping at the business end.
Won a couple of races last season, but unable to repeat that since being claimed by current handler around a year ago. Handicapper now relenting and he might give each-way players something to cheer about at a price.
Began 2016 looking like it was just a matter of time before his next win, but the clock is still ticking and he has been frustrating to follow. Not beaten far over this trip at Nottingham last time and handles good or slower ground. Each-way appeal.
Sole success came in a Nottingham maiden (1m½f, good to firm) in June. Handicapper has since had the edge and from this mark he looks in need of improvement to win again.
Was a C&D runner-up (beaten ½L, good) in July in what was a better race than this. Lost his way a little after that, but back to form with a win at Beverley (1m2f, good to firm) last time and not without a chance if overcoming his draw.

Three of the last four winners of this race have gone off at 16-1 or bigger and the other was 9-1, so it could pay to think outside the box. Society Red looks to have claims, though he has a tough enough draw to overcome but one who is better placed in that respect and will appreciate the likely gallop here is JACBEQUICK, who is 1lb lower than when winning over 1m4f here in July and could represent a bit of value. Stable companion Kharbetation is not one to write off yet and he could do better from today's revised mark, while the likes of Grand Inquisitor, Carnageo, Awake My Soul, Dance King, Save The Bees and at a bigger price Trendsetter all make some sort of appeal on an each-way basis.
