Minor promise to date and drops in class for this. Related to several winners and tries this trip for the first time having failed to stay a mile two weeks ago. Faces a stiff task conceding weight all round in an above average race for it's type.
Stepped up considerably last time on first run since being gelded. Cheekpieces are added and the trainer is 2-39 when applying the headgear for the first time.
Not knocked about on Yarmouth debut and is quickly dropped in class. On pedigree we should see more from him on this quicker surface so worth checking in the market.
Went up 17lb for a good run at Chepstow in August and has been well beaten since. Would still have work to do on that one piece of form and chances are the effort flatters her.
Beat a subsequent winner into third at Lingfied in July but has checked out early on both starts since on soft ground. This represents a huge drop in grade and she is favoured by the weights. Rider 6-14 for the yard on AW tracks.
Plum last on all three starts including a seller. Blinkers are tried and hard to see them making that significant an impact.
Took a backward step last time and now finds herself in a tougher race. Represents last year's winning yard and makes her AW debut.

Smugglers Top is the only one of these coming into this race on an upward curve and there is a chance of more to come with cheekpieces now applied. Alaska had been a consistent performer until two poor runs at Nottingham. He has a solid run on the AW in between those efforts and shapes as though he will get this longer trip. At the weights ONE FOR JUNE makes most appeal having won a minor race at Lingfield that has since worked out. The way she has given up the chase on her last two starts is a concern but the switch to this faster surface may be the answer. The booking of the champion elect adds further to her chances.
