Debut scorer at Epsom in July (1m½f, good to firm), but showed that he handles cut when runner-up on soft at Musselburgh last time (1m1f). That penalty has taken its toll, but he should still remain competitive.
Improved significantly for his debut when scoring on heavy ground at Carlisle (1m) last time. Will need to better that to follow up under a penalty this time, but going the right way and should be in the mix.
66-1 and beaten 21L on debut when beating just the one home at Thirsk (7f, soft) last month. Taken out at Pontefract with a vet's certificate on Monday and if he turns up then he can continue his education in this.
Made a reasonable debut to be a 5L sixth at Thirsk (1m, good to firm) on debut last month, though not able to build on that on heavy at Pontefract last time. Has plenty to prove in terms of both ability and on this ground.
20-1 and ran green on debut when an 11½L fourth of seven at Haydock (1m, heavy) last month. Should be able to take a significant step forward this time.

Wax And Wane (8/11), Soldier's Minute (6/4), Lynwood Gold (11/4), Spark Of War (9/2), Sincerely Resdev (40/1), Dicktation (50/1)
The recent Listed run of SOLDIER'S MINUTE sets the standard here and he should prove very tough to beat, despite shouldering a penalty for his earlier win. Wax And Wane is his most interesting opponent and looks open to fair amount of improvement. He is not ruled out, while Lynwood Gold should be on the premises and the performance of Spark Of War may well be worth noting.
