Won the first of his three races in novice company and now goes handicapping for the first time. His victory came at this trip and he may be happier back to it.

Won novice events either side of a down-the-field run in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. Ran respectably when fourth on his nursery debut at Chester and can do better on slightly less testing ground.

Won on her first two starts before finishing down the field in the Super Sprint at Newbury. Fifth of six on nursery debut last time and although 2lb lower, she may prefer a sounder surface.

Beat an odds-on favourite when winning on her third run in maiden company at Brighton. Showed plenty of speed that day and drop to minimum trip may suit on first start in a nursery.

Only win in six starts came in a 5f novice event on good to firm at Pontefract. Ran well off this mark on the AW at Chelmsford last time and has each-way claims.

Landed a 5f novice event on soft ground at Ripon in July, so conditions should hold no terrors. Third off 1lb higher last time and has a chance with the hood she wore then retained.

First venture into nursery company saw him win over 5f in soft ground at Sandown. Handicapper took his revenge by hiking him up 10lb, a mark off which he struggled on latest start. Down 2lb, but still has plenty to do.

Promise in novice and maiden company and showed she could handle this sort of surface when third at Chester when last seen in July. Returns from a break for her first venture into handicap company and is not without a chance.

Wore a hood for the first time on his initial venture into nursery company last time, but finished last of the nine runners. Plenty to prove despite 3lb drop in the weights.

Forecasts

Kick On Kick On (9/4), Viscount Loftus (4/1), Wear It Well (6/1), Bow Belles (7/1), Brandy Station (10/1), The Golden Cue (10/1), Floss The Hoss (14/1), Time Trail (16/1), Billiebrookedit (25/1)

14:15 Nottingham - 11 October 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Quite a competitive nursery in which cases can be made for joint top weights Kick On Kick On and Viscount Loftus. Floss The Hoss has possibilities after her short break and Bow Belles, Brandy Station, The Golden Cue and Time Trail will each have their supporters. However, WEAR IT WELL disposed of an odds-on shot in a maiden last time, is feasibly weighted on her handicap debut and may be progressive enough to take care of her rivals.
  1. Wear It Well
  2. Floss The Hoss
  3. Viscount Loftus
