Former C&D winner, sound effort in third of nine in at Sandown (5f, good to soft) 20 days ago. Has to enter calculations dropped in class for this.

A winner over 5f at Windsor in June on good to firm, should be suited back over this trip with blinkers added for first time and capable of mounting a challenge.

Recorded a third win of this year last time at Bath (5f, soft). Carries penalty for that success but every chance of being in the mix again with conditions to suit.

Well beaten on handicap debut at Salisbury in July having failed to make a mark in maidens. Fair bit of improvement needed if hoping to take closer order here.

Consistent performer this season and tends to go in any ground. Latest effort at Sandown best forgotten having lost all chance leaving the starting stalls.

Good effort last time when close second over this trip on soft ground at Goodwood, now back within 2lb of previous winning mark and should get involved.

Probably wants faster ground than what she will get here and others arrive with stronger claims as she may be better over 6f.

Remains a maiden after five starts and well held in both handicaps so far, blinkers added now but looks an unlikely winner on form.

On a long losing run and has shown signs of temperament. Last win came from a mark of 75 but it would still be a shock if he took this.

Thrice-raced filly has shown very little in three maidens, all over significantly further than this. Tongue tie added for handicap bow but facing stiff task on these terms.

Forecasts

Flowing Clarets (10/3), Everkyllachy (4/1), Wotadoll (9/2), Zavikon (6/1), Pride Of Angels (8/1), Taajub (8/1), Little Miss Daisy (12/1), Something Lucky (16/1), Shelneverwalkalone (20/1), Steady (50/1)

14:10 Brighton - 10 October 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Everkyllachy produced a career-best to win in some style at Bath last week and will go close with a repeat of that run here, but the 6lb penalty may just leave her vulnerable. FLOWING CLARETS ran a nice race at Goodwood on soft ground last time out and is now dropping back close to her previous winning mark, with conditions in her favour she can go well here. Little Miss Daisy and former C&D winner Tajuab appeal most from the remainder.
  1. Flowing Clarets
  2. Everkyllachy
  3. Taajub
