Has had a busy but fruitful campaign, winning three times including at this level in France (7f, soft) in August. Carries a penalty for that and also off the boil just lately, so this looks a tough assignment.
Has put up four very similar efforts so far without being able to get his nose in front. Handles some cut, although was declared a non-runner on good to soft previously, but has plenty to prove also on grounds of class in this field.
Not beaten far on debut and then went one better to win a Leicester novices' contest (5f, good to firm) when last seen in April. Was taken out on soft ground on his other other entry, but dam won on soft, so he may be okay on it and is interesting.
Has won twice over 6f and with cut in the ground so far, and the fact that he got home (when just beaten) over 7f last time is a positive in a race like this, where they will go a very good gallop. Looks to be a leading contender.
Scored at Ayr (6f, good) at the second attempt in July and improved on that when a short head runner-up at Chester next time (good to soft). Couldn't get to grips with this grade when tried at Ripon last time and will need improvement to figure.
Both of his wins have been on good to soft ground, over 5½f at Brighton in June and then 5f at Chester a month later. Yet to convince over quite as far as this, but comes here in form and looks to have an each-way squeak.
Scored here over 5f in May (good) and also at Yarmouth over that trip (good) in July, when he matched that effort. Handles good to soft ground and should be competitive, but has a bit to find if he is to win a tough contest such as this.
Scored on debut at Newcastle (5f, AW) in June, though has been out of his depth in Group 2 and then a reasonably strong novices' contest since. Looks to be the stable's second string here and is up against it.
Another debut scorer (5f, Nottingham) and although he has not added to that, he is proven at this level with a placed run at Naas next time. Has run well in defeat in a couple of tough nurseries recently, handles cut and this trip and can go well.
Scored at Haydock (5f, soft) in June and has continued to improve since then, despite not adding to that. Beaten just 4L in the Cheveley Park (6f, good to soft) last time, that is very smart form to be tabling here and she has to be short-listed.
Took a Ripon novices' event earlier in the year and added to that over this trip (good to soft) in a Thirsk handicap in July. Her best effort was back there over 5f next time, but she has too much to find with the leading contenders in this line-up.
Has enjoyed a reasonably consistent campaign, winning twice when there has been cut in the ground, although he has since been found wanting by the handicapper. Conditions might help bring him into it, though he looks to have too much on his plate.
Has won three times in a good campaign, all over the minimum trip and with cut in the ground. Went close over this trip at York (good) in July, but comfortably held in a couple of class 2 events on his favoured softer ground, so has a bit to prove.
Yet to confirm her promise with a win, but has twice been runner-up in maidens and she probably ran as well as could be expected for a 50-1 chance when beaten 5½L in the Group 2 Queen Mary. However, this is a tough race in which to break your duck.
Debut scorer at Doncaster in April (5f, good to soft) when taking one leg of the Brocklesby and has twice bettered that form in defeat recently, including on soft at Beverley last time. Needs to improve to figure now stepped up in grade.
0-8 so far and although she has gone close to scoring on a couple of occasions at Catterick (5f) and over this trip at Ripon, she looks to be a fair way short of what will be required to win such a competitive contest.
Began well with wins over this trip on debut at Lingfield (good to firm) and then on his third start at Chelmsford (AW). Very disappointing when joint-favourite but last of 17 at York next time and didn't convince that he was over that last time.
Won here over 5f (good to firm) on debut in April and has some respectable efforts to his name in defeat since then. However, yet to convince that he relishes cut in the ground and looks short on class for such a contest.
Easy winner of a Carlisle novices' contest (5f, good to soft) in July and matched that in narrow defeats on his next two runs. Beaten favourite on his handicap debut last time. Will need to improve to figure, but could do so and go well at a price.
Won comfortably at Windsor (5f, good) on debut and put up a similar effort when beaten just 1L after being stepped up to this trip at Yarmouth (good to soft) last time. Less exposed than many and could be capable of a bold showing.
Has been improving steadily and has gone close on each of her last two starts over this trip at Yarmouth (good to firm) and Newbury (good). Has it to prove with cut in the ground but going the right way and probably has each-way claims.
Interrupted five placed efforts with a win at Sandown (7f, good) two starts ago. Improving for most of his seven starts so far, handles cut in the ground and is unexposed over this shorter trip. Could emerge as a contender.
Improving filly who came good at Newmarket (6f, soft) last time out. Handicapper doesn't rate her chance against some of these, but she remains a potential improver and another good effort is not ruled out.

Richard Fahey has not got his hands on this prize in the past decade, but he gives himself eight chances of doing so this time and the pick of them look to be Crownthorpe and DARKANNA. The former is very interesting now dropped to this trip and a win would not surprise, though he has a fair bit to find with Darkanna at the weights and the latter's form last time out sets the standard here. Flying Sparkle is one of several that could get heavily involved, the others being Foxtrot Lady, Red Roman, Never Back Down and Rumshak.
