Arendelle
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: P Hanagan| T: E Walker
8/1
Camelot filly, the first foal of an unraced but relatively well-related dam. This first-season sire's progeny have often improved for their first run and she has to overcome the widest draw of all in this big field.

Horse silk
33/1
Has run two uneventful races so far, finishing down the field in each. 7lb claimer takes the ride for the first time but she needs to find plenty in order to challenge the key players here.

Horse silk
Boscastle11
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: Tom Marquand| T: H Morrison
66/1
Raced too keenly on debut at Newmarket last time when never landing a blow; should be able to go closer here if learning from that experience and putting in a more accomplished performance.

Horse silk
Bossiney Bayh1
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: Fran Berry| T: H Morrison
28/1
Camelot filly who cost €60,000 as a yearling and wears a hood for her debut. It would be no surprise to see her improve for this first run.

Calling Rio7
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: P Mulrennan| T: D Loughnane| OR:  67
20/1
Return to a sounder surface seemed to do her good at Redcar last time out, and this step up in trip should benefit her further, as connections persist with maidens rather than switching to handicaps.

Horse silk
8/1
Not disgraced on debut at Yarmouth last time out, running a fair race despite looking too keen in the early stages. Better can be expected here for a top trainer.

Horse silk
10/1
Camelot filly who cost 155,000gns as a yearling and represents a top trainer. Could develop into a useful performer in time but entitled to need this first run.
8
(2)
Horse silk
25/1
Epaulette filly who cost 26,000gns as a yearling. Related to a couple of useful types and is well-drawn. Possibly the owner/trainer's second string here.

Horse silk
7/1
Steps up in trip having finished fifth on debut at Newmarket last time out. Should be able to show more here given the way she shaped in the race, but still likely to come up short of winning.

Horse silk
100/1
Hasn't looked particularly impressive in either of her two races so far but was slightly better at Kempton last time and interesting to see how she does on a likely sounder surface on turf, having raced on heavy for her debut.

Horse silk
La Diva47
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: Harry Bentley| T: R Varian| BF
13/8
Beaten at odds-on last time but has still managed two solid races in novice events so far; up in trip here and could atone for her defeat last time in what is possibly a weaker race.

Horse silk
66/1
Sir Percy filly who wears a hood for this racecourse debut. First foal of a dam who won over 1m3f and may improve for a little bit further than this in time.
13
(5)
Horse silk
50/1
So You Think filly, the first foal of a dam who won over 7f. Not too much to go on in terms of pedigree and the market should prove informative as to her chances.
14
(11)
Horse silk
50/1
Havana Gold filly who cost £26,000 as a yearling. Dam was a winner as a two-year-old and trainer has to be respected given his record with juveniles.
15
(15)
Horse silk
12/1
Most Improved filly, a half-sister to the Listed-placed Sagaciously. Top jockey up for this debut run and worth a check in the market.

(3)
Horse silk
10/1
Shamardal filly out of a useful mare over longer trips than this. That stamina influence may see her be more effective over further in time.

Forecasts

La Diva (13/8), Girls Talk (7/1), Arendelle (8/1), Come With Me (8/1), Sailing Home (10/1), Expensive Liaison (10/1), Sageness (12/1), Calling Rio (20/1), Fayrouz Rose (25/1), Bossiney Bay (28/1), Bessie Warfield (33/1), Royal Goldie (50/1), Pescedora (50/1), Boscastle (66/1), Navajo Squaw (66/1), Isle Of Avalon (100/1)

This can go to LA DIVA. Roger Varian's filly may have disappointed at odds-on when last seen but she was a little unlucky in-running on that occasion and all the signs are that she should improve for this further step up in trip. Come With Me is another who should be capable of better here, having run a fair race on debut at Yarmouth last time out for a top trainer in John Gosden, while there are a few newcomers of interest, including Royal Goldie.
  1. La Diva
  2. Come With Me
  3. Royal Goldie
