Progressing nicely in three runs, collared late on over 6f at Lingfield (good to soft) last month, big player on form dropped to 5f if handling the surface.

Career-best effort when finishing runner-up on soft ground over 6f at Ascot last month. One to note on AW bow dropping in distance.

Consistent enough sort who likes to go from the front, three tries in handicap company have been fair without screaming of an impending win. Visor added for AW debut and not crossed off list.

Still a maiden after six starts but went very close on AW debut at Chelmsford in August over this trip. Rated 1lb lower now and gets tongue-tie to go with cheekpieces. Can get involved in the finish.

Off the mark at the fifth attempt, he didn't really need to improve to score taking a nursery on his debut in this sphere off a mark of 70 at Brighton in August. Now just 2lb higher and entitled to get involved if acting on the AW first time.

Best run of three (all 6f) came on Wolverhampton's AW in August when 2¼L fourth of 11. Can have a say now tackling nursery for the first time dropped to 5f.

Ran well enough in Queen Mary at Royal Ascot but a bit disappointing in further starts at Beverley and Chepstow since. Handles AW and the filly is a player now going in a nursery sporting first-time blinkers.

Frontrunner, won on nursery bow at Bath in August (5f, good to firm), not as good back there last month but has run well on AW before and has claims here. Not certain to get easy time of it up front.

Forecasts

Lady Dancealot (13/8), Expelled (3/1), City Gent (5/1), Tiepolo (6/1), Haveoneyerself (9/1), Big Time Maybe (10/1), Undercover Brother (11/1), Bath And Tennis (16/1), Fab (16/1), Zain Smarts (40/1)

18:10 Kempton - 3 October 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Plenty of these are stepping into handicap company for the first and, as such, the betting ought to prove a useful aid. Lady Dancealot did well last time to overcome a poor start and finish second at Ascot. She's a player here but will need to be away quicker dropped in trip. It is hard to rule any of the field out with certainty and it will be no shock to see Big Time Maybe, City Gent and Bath And Tennis involved at the business end but TIEPOLO has improved with racing and might open his account now dropped to this trip and sporting new cheekpieces in a handicap for the first time.
  1. Tiepolo
  2. Lady Dancealot
  3. Big Time Maybe
