Got himself and his stable off the mark for the year when winning at Wetherby in June but rather like his yard he's not being firing on all cylinders this year. Drops back to his last winning grade here in a first time visor but still far from being one to bank on.

A bargain buy when he cost just £600 for his current yard he returned that purchase price with interest when winning on his handicap debut at Nottingham off a 9lb lower mark. Made all there and showed improved form; he may well be able to improve again.

Already has three wins in the board this year for his new yard having previously been with Les Eyre. Found progress this year and looked as though there was more to come if his latest win is taken as a guide showing his versatility to boot. Leading chance.

Has on occasions shaped well this year without having the rub of the green in a couple of his handicaps attempts with his mark having now dipped below his last winning one. Disappointed last time but that run may have come too soon and not out of this.

In better form last year and yet to really find his form this year apart from when he took the runner-up slot earlier in the year at Leicester over this trip. Has looked out of sorts lately and looks to be regressing instead of progressing.

The losing run now stretches to over two years although he did manage to hit the frame four times last year at Chepstow. Despite the much reduced mark he remains one to be wary of his chance often compromised by a slow start.

Never looks the easiest ride (often slow away) and can take a while to warm to his task (usually held-up) but has run better than his final position on a few occasions. Ran a typical race for him last time and needs everything to fall right to score.

Back-to-back wins were secured in July the second win coming off a 4lb lower mark but she has looked held in two runs since then despite running with credit. Handles some give in the ground and should remain competitive without being able to win this.

Ran well against an improving sort last time in a better grade than this and that she usually plys her trade in having had the run of the race. Goes off the same mark now but these will be the most stamina sapping conditions she encountered.

Maiden form indicated that he might be better in handicaps and so that proved when making his debut in this sphere on the AW showing improved form. Now returns to turf having only had one previous run on the surface (soft) and remains with potential.

Shaped far better than his final position suggests last time in a better race than this over a longer trip under much more conservative tactics than employed by his former yard. 5lb out of the handicap here but still of interest markedly back in trip.

Competitive fare with several that come here with either relatively solid form to their name or the potential to progress further. Nazzaa would have a foot in both of those camps and could take a step forward here along with horses like Angelical and Hajaam both of whom could be assessed as improvers. Eden Dubai is a fascinating contender although it looks as though connections are still working him out and this is a fair drop down in trip. BEVERLEY BULLET has made good strides for his current trainer and on his running last time his chances are obvious here with the possibility that he has a little more to come yet with underfoot conditions not likely to worry him at all.
