Green for both his starts so far he's compromised his efforts so far with slow starts and although there looks to be something to work on it looks to be handicaps that hold his best hope. Now wears a visor for the first time.

Left his debut form well behind when keeping on to finish third at Catterick last time out although the yard are yet to have a juvenile winner this year. May improve a little more now stepped up to 6f but stable juvenile record is off putting.

Needs to show more than he did on his debut over 7f on soft in a Thirsk novice event when a 33/1 chance. Now dropped to 6f for his second run and he may well come on for his first run without having an outstanding chance.

Hardly looked suited by the track at Chester on his debut (started 20/1) and finished well beaten but will have learnt from that experience. May well find this track and trip more to his liking and could do better here.

Showed more on his second appearance with the hood on for the first time (retained here) but still didn't look the finished article. With those runs behind him he could be expected to do better here in what looks a weak heat.

Yard don't have an overwhelming record with their first time out juveniles (7% last five years) and this one was only a cheap purchase as a foal. On the upside he is a half-brother to three winners including a juvenile 7f winner.

14:45 Haydock - 29 September 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Not a lot of strength in depth here with those that have run not setting a particularly high standard although the likes of Feebs and Mutabaahy may well improve but offer very little value at the current market odds. Deecider wears a visor for the first time which could give him a lift although handicaps look as though they will be his best route to a win. KENDERGARTEN KOP was well beaten on his debut but that came at Chester which doesn’t suit all horses and over a more conventional track with that under his belt and over 6f he may well be able to improve on a track where Tom Dascombe has a good record overall. Wrenthorpe looks a cheap buy but he may do better than expected on debut and is worth looking at in the market.
  1. Kendergarten Kop
  2. Mutabaahy
  3. Deecider
