Had twice fallen prior to recent runner-up finish over 2m4f at Hexham (heavy), went well for a long way there before giving best to the favourite after the last. Yet to win (0-19) over fences but from a 6lb lower mark cannot be overlooked easily.
Winner of a maiden chase at Clonmel in February over this sort of trip, mostly been struggling in hunter chases since and off a 114-day break doesn't appeal as being well-handicapped for this.
Unplaced in five starts over fences and has been laboured in three spins over timber since a 37L beating over 2m1½f at this track last month. Easier to look elsewhere on the formbook.
Good effort at this track last month in a 2m handicap hurdle off a mark of 86, but form in four starts over these obstacles does nothing to inspire confidence a breakthrough is imminent. Upped in trip.
Hadn't shown much in beginners' chases but duly landed a touch on handicap / stable bow last time at Downpatrick over just shy of 3m, coming well away in doing so. Carries just a 4lb penalty over this shorter trip and has his chance again seemingly.
A 22-race maiden whose efforts in the spring were very tame, returns from 178-day layoff and the 7lb claim will assist on handicap chase debut but doesn't appear to possess a lot of ability.

POORMANS HILL made a winning handicap chase debut at Downpatrick five days ago on his first outing for Gordon Elliott and duly won by 17L. He's dropped back in trip for this follow-up bid but has been raised just 4lb and on the evidence shown there, he may still be well ahead of the assessor. His case is further strengthened by the apparent paucity of opposition worth supporting. Dr Moloney went well last time at Hexham having suffered two falls previously. That was a decent effort but he doesn't tend to find a lot in a scrap and may end up settling for place money. Who's Cross and Island Master look the best of a weak remaining quartet.
