Showed plenty of speed when winning over 5f on debut at Beverley but proved a little disappointing over this trip at Hamilton, starting slowly. Has to concede weight all around and may not find as easy to dominate this field. Each-way claims.

Well held on handicap debut at Goodwood over 7f last month but appeared to appreciate the drop in trip when winning at Brighton last time out. A little more exposed than most in here and she looks vulnerable to anything above average.

Won well at Leicester on debut and not disgraced on only other start at Royal Ascot. That form has shown itself to be very useful and she's the one they all have to beat if returning in the same form and taking to the AW.

Well beaten at big prices on both his starts to date. Likely to do better when tackling handicaps.

Sayif colt, cost 16,000gns as a yearling and a half-brother to 7f specialist Bertiewhittle. Well beaten on debut at Lingfield when a 50/1 shot and that level of form unlikely to be good enough to play a part here.

Sixties Icon gelding, half-brother to Sakhees Return as well as some useful AW performers. Trainer has a good record around here but his newcomers are often in need of the run.

Has had four runs with the best efforts both coming on the AW at Wolverhampton. Can lead and won't mind trying to make the pace here but has to improve for the fitting of first-time blinkers and the drop back in trip.

Slowly away prior to pulling up when making his debut and not much better last time when ninth of 10 at Kempton. Has gone off 100/1 on both starts and will likely do better when tackling handicaps.

Stepped up on her debut effort when runner-up at Brighton but looked a little outpaced at one stage and she may do better when tried over further.

Kyllachy filly, cost 12,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a 1m winner out of Group placed granddaughter of Park Hill winner Madame Dubois. Not disgraced on either start to date but will need plenty more in this line up.

Forecasts

Marchingontogether (6/4), Oswald (3/1), Ghepardo (9/2), Equitant (9/2), Episcia (12/1), Cristal Pallas Cat (16/1), Nampara (25/1), Jackpot Royale (33/1), Harbour Storm (50/1), Tipi (100/1)

18:40 Chelmsford City - 26 September 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

MARCHINGONTOGETHER arrives with an obvious chance after a respectable effort at Royal Ascot when last seen and provided she's ready to go on her return; she could be hard to beat. Equitant was impressive on debut and should give it a good go from the front while Oswald may be another pace angle in the race and could improve in first-time blinkers.

  2. Equitant
  3. Oswald
