Not won for some time now but still relatively lightly raced and effort in the Ebor last time wasn't devoid of promise. Dropped 2lb for that but softer conditions have to be the main question mark having done all his winning on fast ground.
Won twice as a juvenile but he's been a little disappointing this campaign, including his latest three starts for this yard. Fair bit to find on form and wrong at the weights with several of these.
Three-time AW winner but yet to win in 12 turf starts and seemingly better on faster ground than what he gets here. This is easier than many of his latest assignments and comes out well at the weights so can't be dismissed if handling conditions.
Recorded a hat-trick over hurdles around the turn of the year on ground ranging from good to soft, to heavy. Would have to be significantly better on the Flat than he is over hurdles to land a blow here though.
Rattled off a hat-trick over hurdles earlier in the year but pulled up in that sphere at Punchestown last time out. Should be fit from that run but like her stablemate, would have to be a better horse on the Flat to take a hand.
In good form this year and followed up a fine effort at the Goodwood Festival with a good run at York when last seen. Clearly handles conditions and could be hard to beat in receipt of weight from the remainder of the field.

Forecasts
On To Victory (8/11), Battersea (3/1), Soldier In Action (7/2), Prince Of Arran (6/1), Lustrous Light (12/1), Taws (20/1), Lady Buttons (33/1), Top Ville Ben (40/1)
ON TO VICTORY has been running well of late and bearing in mind he's proven in the conditions, he could be hard to beat getting weight from all his rivals. If Soldier In Action returned to the form that saw him win at Goodwood two starts back, he ought to go close while Battersea shaped like a return to form may be imminent in the Ebor last time.
