Just 3lb higher than when winning at Lingfield (on turf) two starts ago, but has run poorly at Goodwood since and had a much worse record away from Lingfield than at that course.
Yet to get off the mark but unlucky not to do so last time out. Cheek pieces applied and is certainly on a workable mark for a top trainer. One for the shortlist.
Off the mark in a maiden handicap last time out having gone close across both kinds of races in the recent past. Up 3lb for that narrow victory but has run well both on this surface and over this trip during his short career so far.
Seems to stay this far despite not yet having thrived since coming up in trip from 1m; hasn't been given much assistance by the handicapper and tough to make a case for off this weight.
Generally not at his best since moving from Mark Johnston's, stamina for this far isn't totally assured on stepping up in trip and difficult to see first time blinkers making too much difference.
Good efforts here on his last three runs (all over 1m), stamina to prove over this far but would have a chance if able to prove that he stays.
Mixed efforts in handicaps so far including a poor run at Pontefract last time out but may have had ground related excuses. Even so, opening mark looks too high to recommend him in first time blinkers here.
Efforts in handicaps to date haven't been all that encouraging, and dropped only 2lb he has plenty to prove following a comprehensive C&D defeat last time out.
Much better since graduating from maidens to handicaps, including one victory and one narrow defeat. Up a further 3lb but should be able to find further improvement for another step up in trip here. Leading contender.
Up 5lb for just a narrow victory at Goodwood last time out but is progressing quickly and could have more to offer even off this bigger weight. Surface should be fine on pedigree.
Only moderate efforts in his three maidens, and though his opening mark makes him look more favourably treated than some of these, he still remains with plenty to prove.

This can go to FREE FORUM. David Simcock's charge has been able to show a new level of form since starting off in handicaps, having won once and being only narrowly denied at Brighton last time, when he may not have suited by the course. Up only 3lb since then he seems to still be improving and a big run looks assured on a return to a more conventional course, provided of course he acts on Polytrack. Just In Time will probably prove to be better than his current mark and is another to consider, along with recent Brighton scorer American History.
