Made moderate progress in three starts (all at long odds) but makes her handicap debut at a realistic level. Open to progress in handicaps but headgear combination suggests she may not be the most straightforward.
Attained a lenient mark after three starts at 7f, 7½f and 1m. The step up in trip is likely to suit and this filly will be very dangerous to leave out of the equation given her trainer's excellent record with similar types over the years.
AW form not so good but has made the frame twice from three starts on turf and possible he will be revitalised by the first-time cheekpieces. Needs to step things up a couple of notches but this lacks strength in depth, so has to be considered.
Already tried a variety of trips, failed to stay an extended 2m latest, so will be suited by today's distance. Won a seller over this distance at Lingfield in July and positive claims on that effort. One to bear in mind if supported in the betting.
Comes into this on the back of a couple of solid efforts at this course and is bred to appreciate this step up in trip. Needs to prove she will handle the state of the ground but no forlorn hope if she does in a weak event like this.
Given Sir Mark Prescott's knack of placing handicap debutantes to great effect, SEND UP has to merit close inspection as she may well flourish now her stamina is brought into play. Broughtons Admiral doesn't have too much to find to get competitive at this level, while Ablaze is at least suited by this distance and will be a threat coping with the ground. Support for African Quest would be interesting.
