First run on this surface for this one who was a winner at Bath earlier in the year but has found Listed and a valuable Sales race too hot since that win. Likely to find this a tough ask also and others are preferred

From a yard that have done well with their juveniles this year with this one winning his first two starts over 5f with one coming here on second start. Back to winning ways last time out back on the AW maintaining an unbeaten record on artificial surfaces.

Win a Windsor maiden on his third start before finding better company too hot to handle on his subsequent starts. Has only raced over 5f and looks ready for this 6f but faces a stiff task on what he's shown so far.

Well bred colt who was clearly fancied to run a big race on debut and duly did justifying favouritism at Nottingham over 6f in impressive style. Looks as though he'll stay further and no surprise to see him taken straight into Group class from a maiden.

Blinkers go on for the first time after he failed to impress in a good class York nursery over 6f clearly not as his best on the day. Had previously been successful on turf and the AW and needs to bounce back here in a Group race for the first time.

Has been running consistently well in top juvenile sprints and despite only having won a novice stakes at Newmarket (second start) he sets the form standard here. His last run at York in a Group 2 confirmed that he deserves his chance here (AW debut).

A dual winner over 6f he's looked progressive to a point this year although he may well have reached his limit when beaten in Listed company at Ripon last time. Probably did too much there and sweated up before the race and needs to be more settled here.

Irish challenger who won his first two races showing his versatility to take in turf and AW races over 5f. Twice beaten in Group 2 grade since then although he can be given credit for both runs and comes here off a break.

Forecasts

Invincible Army (11/8), Corinthia Knight (11/4), Eqtidaar (7/2), Lake Volta (10/1), True Blue Moon (12/1), Thechildren'strust (12/1), Green Fortune (25/1), Declarationoflove (50/1), Connery (100/1)

16:25 Kempton - 9 September 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An intriguing contest which features some that have shown some solid form versus one in particular who has shown massive potential. Eqtidaar is the one with the potential having won impressively on his debut and it comes as no surprise to see him stepped straight up in grade and he deserves his chance here but INVINCIBLE ARMY may have just too much experience for him here. He’s looked the part in Group company and surely one of these will drop his way. Most of the others have something to prove given their previous form with Corinthia Knight coming from a yard that have done well with their juveniles this year and 6f may suit him. Lake Volta needs to settle better to take a hand while Green Fortune and True Blue Moon are interesting contenders at bigger prices.
  1. Invincible Army
