Was the 12L winner of a novices' handicap chase at Ludlow in May (3m, good), but fell too early to see how he would cope with an 11lb rise at Uttoxeter last time. Should give a good account despite his penalty back at this level.
Did well in point-to-points a couple of seasons back, but has struggled to get competitive both in that sphere and on his sole rules run, which was here over 2m last month. This trip is more appropriate but others are preferred.
Stays 3m1½f over hurdles and acts well on good ground. Disappointed on his sole chase run so far when a well beaten favourite at Worcester in June (2m7f, good), but if he can run to his ability then he would have claims.
Scored at Worcester (2m7f, good) last month by 12L in a beginners' chase, though didn't find a great deal in the closing stages at Stratford last time. This easier track may suit better and in receipt of weight he again has claims.
Forecasts
Young Dillon (6/4), Ozzy Thomas (2/1), Nachi Falls (2/1), Don't Be Fooled (100/1)
A trappy contest where Nachi Falls is favoured at the weights with his allowance, but he may still have to give best to YOUNG DILLON, who has been given time since flopping on his chase debut and has the ability to win this. Ozzy Thomas should not be underestimated either, though his penalty might just find him out.
