Scored at Beverley in June a win that has triggered a good run of form and he's been able to hold his form better than usual. Could well have been a little unlucky not to win last time (travelled well) and could still win again off a mark in the high 60s.

Very much improved on previous performances when scoring over C&D last time out on soft ground and seeming really suited by the emphasis on stamina at the trip. The 6lb rise he was given for that win appears fair enough and he's much respected.

Drops back to a mile on his third start in a handicap having failed to really live up to expectations last time out on quicker ground. Had shown the time before that he had ability and it may well be that this softer ground will see him in a better light.

The other C&D winner in the field he found plenty for pressure when winning here in June off a mark of 63 overcoming some difficulties in-running. His subsequent efforts though have looked a little below-par and he's looked a hard ride on occasions.

Ought to be able to win off marks such as this (58) but his run last time out probably showed why he's on such a long losing run as he looked typically weak in a finish. Not one to be trusted on the whole and looking harder to win with than ever.

Is bred to be better than he's shown but never really got his act together as a juvenile and much the same can be said so far for his three-year-old career. Well below form on his last two starts and the saving grace may be the drop back to a mile here.

Not long with his current yard and scored on his second and third runs for them over 7f starting favourite on both occasions but now finds himself coping with a 5lb higher mark. Looks to remain in some sort of form although a mile may stretch his stamina.

Just keeps on extending his long losing run and has to operate from 6lb out of the handicap here and that is enough to kill off any interest in his chance.

14:25 Hamilton - 5 September 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

There are several in this that may well be worth taking on given how they often flatter to deceive although Fleetfoot Jack will more than likely head the market based on his C&D win last time out although he may well have been flattered by that run. Given that statement RETRIBUTION may well be worth another chance back on softer ground and over this trip. Mr Cool Cash has often struggled off this mark but appears to be more consistent of late and could reach a place while Trinity Star and Green Howard are a duo that travel but often don’t find very much and are hard to trust.
