Has a good record here winning four times twice over this trip with his latest win coming in May off this mark. Has rather lost his way since then though and looks rather out of sorts with that effort in May being a standout.

The only other C&D winner in the field that proved to be his first turf win and came on the back of a consistent run of form and he's had excuses for his two defeats since. Now back at a sprint trip he's respected for a yard in form.

The losing run stands at 32 although he was probably too highly tried last time out at Newmarket. This type of grade/race is much more his bag these days and his fourth over C&D on his penultimate start bring him into this contest.

Struggled to follow-up her runner-up slot in a handicap when returned to maiden company last time looking a difficult ride (raced lazily). Would look relatively well treated off this mark if she could recapture the form of her penultimate start.

His overall record (1/28) doesn't look at all impressive but he's competed in better races than this in this past. Was below form on his last start though and needs to show more to take a hand here as he drops in grade.

Her recent second in an AW seller over 6f would give her some sort of chance here but she's gone into reverse in terms of form in her last two starts. Often slow away she went with little fluency last time and is best watched here.

Lightly-raced maiden who is dropped into this grade for the first time after showing little on her first handicap start over 7f and now back to sprinting. Wouldn't take much to see her take a hand here and probably still unexposed.

Has regressed from her debut and fared no better than of late on handicap debut last time out with blinkers on for the first time. Looked as though she was a temperamental sort last time out and best treated with caution.

Winner of a low-grade handicap at around this time last year off a 2lb higher mark that's probably about as good as she is. Recent efforts have been fairly modest although she's not totally out of this.

Showed some form when making her debut for this yard aver a mile here (made running) but has failed to build on that and again ran poorly last time. A drop in grade with the blinkers on for first time looks the last roll of the dice.

Only had one outing for his previous yard and that was a fairly uninspiring one and now makes a return for his former yard. Drops down in trip and only worthy of looking at if there is market support.

Headgear appeared to make a slight difference when dropped into a seller last time out but it was only a modest run and he remains a 12-race Flat maiden.

Well held in a lowly handicap last time out over 7f and she continues to show very little that would have you rushing to support her here.

Despite the falling mark in handicaps she's shown very little to be interested in even taking the drop in grade. Runs from out of the handicap here and not one to be interested in even dropping in grade.

Looks to have plenty to do given her form this year and ran no better on her latest start than on her return this year. Would need to show far more than of late to be of interest here even in this lowly grade.

14:30 Brighton - 4 September 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A race that is hard to get too excited about with very few solid options even in this lowly company with STRICTLY CARTER looking the best option returned to a sprint trip. Time Medicean is on a long losing run but there are some positives to be gained from his recent runs with Perfect Pastime another who could bounce back to form with Rebel Heart worth a look at the bigger prices.
  1. Strictly Carter
  2. Time Medicean
  3. Rebel Heart
