It was tempting to row in with the consistent bottom weight La Vie En Rose given her connections, but she has been beaten twice off this mark and the extra distance of this contest will need to have a positive effect if she is to return to wining form. Angel Gabrial looks the best of his stable's three runners, while Zenafire has solid each-way claims and Ya Jammeel's chance is obvious providing he stays. Stamina is not an issue for ST MARY'S, though, and this course winner can make a bold bid for a yard which does quite well at this venue.
