Useful sprinter at his best, into the veteran stage now but still running with some credit (not disgraced in the Great St Wilfrid at Ripon last time out). Has form at the track, handles heavy ground, and faces easiest task for a while. Chance.
Handles most ground and has won after a small break before, so has some plus points, but handicapper has looked in charge this season and isn't cutting him any slack. Others look to hold stronger claims.
Regularly hits the frame in this sort of company but only 3 wins from 29 starts, recent efforts rather suggest he's gone a little off the boil and best form has come on quicker ground. Others preferred.
As many poor runs as good ones this year but has gone close on heavy ground here (6f) this season. Overall call is that others hold stronger profiles though, and she needs to bounce back from a poor run last time too.
Quick turnaround after a disappointing effort at the Curragh at the weekend, but had run right up to best when winning there previously. Drop back to 5f and the slower ground ask new questions here.
Only had the four starts and showed that the penny was dropping with a good win at the Curragh last time out, finishing her race off well. Needs to show she handles slower ground here but clearly going the right way and must be taken seriously.
Nothing if not consistent and did no worse for the drop back to 5f at the Curragh last time, staying on well late. Faster they go up front the better her chance and she's already shown she handles heavy ground.
Finished just in front of Conversely in that Curragh contest and every chance of confirming the form on the same terms today. Seems to be slowly improving with each run and no reason not to go close again here.
Forecasts
Conversely (9/2), Realt Rua (9/2), Comhghairdeas (5/1), Go Kart (5/1), Voge (5/1), Maarek (11/2), Sors (8/1), Athas An Bhean (33/1)
A chance is taken that CONVERSELY can take another small step forward. She's proven on this softer ground and with some pace in the race, that will suit her come-from-behind style here. Realt Rua should be finishing wherever the selection finishes and should go close. Maarek has to give the weight away all round but it would be no surprise if he was able to.
