Joined this trainer for £4,000 from Neville Bycroft in May and clearly is no longer the force of old. However, the handicapper is giving her a chance and she's now 5lb lower than when fourth of eight over C&D in May. Cheek-pieces applied.

Not won for over two years, but ran by far and away his best race for this stable when a 3L runner up to Whipphound at Thirsk recently (6f amateur riders good). Returns to action quickly from the same mark.

Narrow winner of a similar contest here in July 2016, and has won a couple more on the AW since then (both over 6f). Falling in the weights on turf this term, and now another 2lb lower than when beaten 5L by Hadley at Thirsk a fortnight ago.

Improved since fitted with the visor, tongue tie combination, and saw off a field of 17 others to score by 1½L at Redcar on Saturday Evening (6f good to firm). Turned out quickly under a penalty with this sharper track ideal for forcing tactics.

Two of his three career successes have come over C&D, and he last tasted success in this contest 12 months ago from a 7lb higher mark. Not really threatened to score so far in 2017, but not beaten too far on his penultimate start at Beverley.

Not really convincing since 2015, but has tumbled down the weights since returning to action in June (down 10lb). Hard to fancy, but any market confidence could be telling with the first time visor now applied.

Her six career starts haven't exactly proved to be 'six of the best', and the switch to handicaps hasn't offered any sign of improvement. Races from a career low mark, but with plenty on her hands to reverse Thirsk placings with Spirit of Zebedee.

A seven race maiden, but with a couple of placed efforts to her name. However, one of those efforts came in a seller at Ripon earlier in the month, and the handicapper has since saw fit to drop her a further 2lb.

State Residence (6/4), Spirit Of Zebedee (9/2), Bold Spirit (9/2), Willbeme (13/2), Bop It (10/1), Malaysian Boleh (10/1), Poet's Time (14/1), Le Laitier (20/1), Six Of The Best (28/1)

16:20 Catterick - 30 August 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The former David O'Meara trained Bop It ran by far and away his best race to date for Mick Easterby at Thirsk ten days ago, but he faces a tough rival in the shape of the current O'Meara trained improver STATE RESIDENCE. The visor and tongue tie combination have seemingly helped this three-year-old to become more consistent and he looks set to make another bold bid from the front under a penalty for Saturday's Redcar success. Of the remainder, the well treated Willbeme could make the frame at reasonable odds.
