Good record here, twice a winner from four starts and sprang a 33/1 surprise here in April when getting up late. Only 4lb higher here and a couple of recent warm-up runs should put him spot-on, so he's not ruled out.
Placed on only start here when third behind Luath in the April contest, and a chance of reversing the form at the weights. Winner at Carlisle off this mark in June and not hard to make a case for here. Shortlisted.
Rarely puts his head in front and two efforts on this surface have seen him well beaten both times. Have to go back to 2015 for last win and others readily preferred today.
Has finished last on three of last four starts but stopped the rot (to a degree) with a slightly better effort at Salisbury latest, the first time tongue tie (retained here) possibly helping. Still plenty to find on that and makes little appeal.
Inconsistent, but three times a winner here and wide draw here tends to suit him as he likes to come wide in the straight. Went close at Beverley from 1lb higher in June and if on a going day, has definite chances over a trip that suits.
Untested on the surface and recent form has tailed off to some extent, although new yard are very good at turning these soured sorts around and purely on that alone, she deserves respect here. Risky, but not totally discounted.
Has been a regular over the seasons here and wins in his turn. On a very dangerous mark if the return to his favourite surface sparks him back into life but recent form a worry and on that alone, others make slightly more appeal.
Only the one win in 30 starts but went awfully close to doubling her tally over this C&D in April, running Fortinbrass to a head. Only a pound higher here and not seen since then, but good jockey booking and dangerous to dismiss.
The big plus point towards his chances is that he was a C&D winner when last seen here in March but since then, his form has become progressively worse. Needs to bounce back to best and not well drawn here either.
Untested on the surface and in no great form, gets a quick turnaround here after finishing well beaten at Redcar at the weekend and on all known evidence, has little going for her here.
One win from 12 starts to date (on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton) but recent form has got worse, and although the trip may have been to blame, was tailed off at Beverley latest. Drop back to 7f may suit but still hard to fancy.
Shown little in four starts and did no better for the step into handicaps last time, finishing well beaten. Needs the step up in trip and switch to Fibresand both to have a major effect.
Better effort last time when a close second at Chelmsford and on breeding, every chance this surface will suit just as well. On a good mark now and although never easy to come from behind here, has to be given plenty of consideration.
Some promise on debut here last December but has gone backwards since then, only beating two horses home in three starts since. Makes little appeal.

Plenty of these hold some sort of chance, and a few will fancy that course regular Roger Thorpe could bounce back from stall 1 as he's likely to have his own way up front, and will be dangerous if allowed too much of a lead. However, GEORDIE GEORGE just gets the vote as a strong pace will suit him and he's well enough handicapped with one or two others in the race to think he's a leading chance. Monsieur Jimmy is another that likes it here and if he's got out of bed the right side, holds definite chances as well.
