Has done a bit better with each run this spring/summer and only just touched off on latest start. Up another 5lb for that but conditions look ideal again and this big field will help him settle better. Looks a player for in-form yard.

Still looked green when winning at Stratford in May and progressed again when beating Table Bluff (ran well at the weekend) at Southwell last time. Up 6lb but stays very well and gives impression of plenty more to come. On the shortlist.

Looked to be going places when winning back-to-back handicaps in April but recent form not so good, and connections now go for a new headgear/tongue tie combination. Needs to dig in better when the pressure's applied.

Twice a winner over C&D on quick ground last year, so likely conditions ideal, and there were some positives to be taken from his fourth here in July. Chances if building on that, and handicapper giving him a chance too.

Age: 8|  Weight: 11-4| J: James Bowen(7)| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR:  92

Falling quickly in the handicap now, but that's because of a series of moderate efforts and he shows no signs of being able to turn it around any time soon. No win since 2014 and unless strong in the market, of little interest here.

Stays very well but into the veteran stage now, and it's been some while since he showed his best form, even when getting his conditions. Likely to be staying on past a few late on but still looks an unlikely winner.

Lightly raced, well backed to make a winning handicap debut at Kempton last year (for a different yard) and almost landed the gamble. Winner last time and this giant of a horse will surely find more improvement from a low-looking mark.

Mark now in freefall after some very poor efforts and he was beaten off pretty quickly here last time out. Can't be recommended in current frame of mind.

Infuriating type that has some ability but predicting when he'll use it is becoming harder and harder. Another moderate effort last time and connections now go for the visor. Too well handicapped to ignore but others have stronger claims.

Top Of The Rocksp,h,t57
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-3| J: Ian Popham| T: Mrs K Stephens| OR:  77

Not a bad effort at Newton Abbot when second to Ladies Dancing in June but that form stands out in some otherwise moderate efforts. Question mark over the trip too and others readily preferred.

Seymour Legendb19
Age: 11|  Weight: 10-0| J: L Treadwell| T: A J Wilson| OR:  71| D

Stays this trip and likely ground fine, but it's been a while since he showed any solid form and he's plenty of ground to make up with a few of these on recent evidence. Makes little appeal.

Torerob,t26
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-0| J: S Bowen| T: A Phillips| OR:  69

Blinkers given a go tonight in an effort to turn his fortunes around, but he's not got within shouting distance of the winner on any of his recent starts and hard to see why he should do any better here.

20:00 Worcester - 23 August 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A big field, but the possibility of a messy race, with no guaranteed front runner in the field. Knowing who this will suit isn't easy, but the veteran WHO AM I is less likely to be inconvenienced by it than a few and might be able to record another win at a venue he likes. Plantagenet, Chantecler and Pearlita all come her in good form and if giving their running, should fill the places. Preference for second is for top weight Chantecler from a yard that's going well, and this small step up in trip should suit.
