Close up third over C&D six days ago, doesn't win often (2-27) but will go close again if replicating that effort.
Most recent of six career wins is now more than two years ago, four efforts since joining this yard aren't inspiring and well beaten over C&D in April. Mark is sliding all the time.
Won a Catterick seller last month but since beaten over 6L at Redcar over this trip, has plenty work to do on the figures seemingly.
Scored a hat-trick last year, including over C&D in April, rather lost his way since and beaten 5½L over track and trip already this month. Change of fortune needed.
Won two over C&D last year and scored last month at Redcar off a mark of 51 (6f, good to soft). Bit lacklustre back here since but wouldn't be safe to discount him.
Yet to really land a blow in handicap company having shown some ability in maidens, first-time blinkers brought no change at Redcar latest and are now discarded in favour of new cheekpieces.
AW performer has now gone 33 runs without a win, been mostly poor on artificial surfaces this year and beaten almost 9L over 5f at Beverley on sole turf run. Leap of faith needed to back him right now.
No win in 14 attempts and no reason on form to suggest that streak will be broken here. Well beaten in 5f Ripon seller this month.
Should have conditions to suit and entitled to go well in this, but was underwhelming over C&D just six days ago and left with questions to answer.
Inconsistent 14-race maiden with a tendency to miss the break. Blinkers were applied for the first time at Ayr recently and had only a minimal effect. Needs to improve.
Gelding has achieved both career wins over 5f and is now on 16-race losing streak. Finished 2½L fourth behind Gaelic Wizard last month at Redcar over this trip.
Gelding has been doing all his racing over the minimum trip so far this year, without ever looking like adding to his five-race career tally. Has won over this trip on the AW back in 2015.

A typically unpredictable cast assembled for the grade, plenty of these are to be taken on trust at times. Rose Éclair was not beaten far over C&D a week ago and boasts fair claims on that effort while Gaelic Wizard likes this C&D (twice winner) and has a recent win at Redcar to claim (though since disappointed here). A J Cook wasn't far behind him at Redcar and enters the plot along with Mitchum who has won here too. INSOLENCEOFOFFICE is far from reliable but was seen doing good work at the finish last time over 5f at Carlisle and might be worth siding with over this extra yardage.
