Has taken his form to a new level since switching to this yard and only just failed to defy a penalty at Bangor last time out. This looks easier and he would go close if able to replicate his recent form on a track that should suit him.
C&D winner last time out when scoring in good style in a similar-looking race to this. Penalty cancels out her mares allowance but further improvement is possible and a bold bid is anticipated on ground that should suit.
Pulled up on his only start in a point-to-point, but was sent off at 7/2 that day, so is clearly well-regarded. Tongue strap on here for his debut under rules and though chasing may be the long-term aim this seems a good starting point.
Only moderate performances since switching to hurdles from point-to-points. Better last time but is easy enough to dismiss based on what he has shown so far coming up against some promising types.
Form in bumpers was a slightly mixed bag, though he did hint at ability at times and it will be interesting to see how he fares on this debut over hurdles. Needs to prove himself over this intermediate trip.
Not a bad effort on rules debut at Bangor last time out, having acquitted himself well in a series of point to points. Should be able to run another fair race, perhaps without posing a serious challenge to the leading contenders.
Ran out on debut at Uttoxeter last time out, when looking like he wasn't at all sure of what was expected of him. Needs to put in a much more professional performance here in order to be considered.

This looks to be between POMME and Mizen Master. Aidan Coleman's mount edged preference due to her stylish performance over C&D last time out, and the fact that due to her mares allowance she carries only the standard weight allotted for 5yo+ geldings. The ground shouldn't be an issue and it would be no surprise to see her complete a double at this course. That said, the second-named shouldn't have any issues with the tight turns at this course, and ran very well in defeat at Bangor when he was last seen. Jonjoela could be a distant third best based on his performance on his rules debut last time.
