Belated debut for gelded son of Nayef who cost 50,000 gns as a yearling and is related to winners over a variety of distances. Clearly has taken time to develop, but is of interest for a yard which has been doing well recently.
By top French middle-distance performer Lawman, he is a half-brother to three winners from 6f to 7f. Sent off at 100-1 on debut at Windsor, but shaped with promise to finish fifth of 16 over 1m2f, suggesting the trip might have been beyond him. Races over 3f less and is interesting.
Gelded son of Dragon Pulse. Changed hands for 72,000 gns as a foal in October, 2015, but purchased by current connections for just £9,000 in March. Half-brother to Listed-placed City Of Stars. Showed fair level of ability when third over 6f at this track on debut and should improve.
Plenty of promise in two starts at Newmarket and Doncaster and seems to have every chance on that level of form. Leading owner also has Subhaan. who carries his first colours, and Waqt.
Gelding by Lawman who fetched £52,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to three winners from 1m to 1m2f. Attractive pedigree and certainly worth a check in the market on debut.
Well backed when second and fourth to a couple of promising Godolphin performers at Chelmsford and might not have seen it out over 1m on latest start. Back to 7f and carries top owner's first colours.
Gelded son of Approve who has plenty of stamina on his dam's side. Signs of ability when fifth of eight over 6f at this track on debut and should be able to better that over the extra furlong.
Gelded son of top 7f/1m performer Paco Boy, he fetched 26,000 gns as a foal and 40,000 gns as a yearling. Plenty of speed on the dam's side, so it will be interesting to see how he fares over this trip on debut.
Second of six on only start as a juvenile over 5f and occupied that position again at Ffos Las on reappearance over 6f. Steps up another furlong and shapes as though it will suit. One of three runners for owner.
Beaten a nose on debut over C&D and again ran well when dropped to 6f at this track last time. Back up to distance of her debut and has to be taken seriously.
Amazing record of having finished runner-up on all six starts over turf. Sets the standard, but her inability to get the job done is a concern. Respected trainer reaches for cheekpieces and has booked a top jockey.
Forecasts
Spinnaka (9/4), Subhaan (3/1), Killay (4/1), Raawy (6/1), Waqt (14/1), Circuit Judge (16/1), Psychotic (20/1), Sky Marshal (25/1), Majboor (33/1), Treacherous (50/1), Suit Of Lights (100/1), Bamo Mc (100/1)
Spinnaka will have her supporters after a string of runner-up placings, but she is going to start at a short price under the punters' favourite jockey and is unlikely to represent value. Wakt, Subhaan and RAAWY represent a leading owner and although the latter does not carry his first colours, his form suggests he might come out on top. KIllay is a big danger, while Psychotic and Treacherous are interesting debutants.
