No obvious signs of ability in either start during July and having cost only 1,000 gns as a yearling makes little appeal. Difficult task at these weights.

€13,000 yearling who displayed clear signs of greeness, but in truth not too much ability when last of nine on debut to Arcavallo at Beverley early this month. Drops into selling company.

Has finished last in three of his four career starts including in claiming company at Lingfield last month (6f soft). Not too much to get excited about with this 4,000 gns yearling.

Started at significant odds in all three career races to date and was only able to finish fourth of seven when dropped into a seller at Thirsk last week (6f good to soft).

Only managed to beat a single rival in two starts during the month of July, and whilst this represents a drop in grade, she needs to show much more.

€3,500 yearling who finished a 2L runner up to Tie Em Up Tel (Angie B fourth) on debut in a seller at Thirsk last week (6f good to soft). Travelled smoothly and probably didn't quite go through with her effort, but expected to benefit for that race and one of the likelier winners.

The pick of her form gives her claims, most notably when fourth of seven in a 5f seller here in early May (third placed Placebo Effect has won twice since, and Tie Em Up Te (fifth) has also won at this level). However, a fraction disconcerting that she had a short break, and was pulled up when losing her action on return at Catterick a couple of weeks ago.

13:30 Redcar - 12 August 2017 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A race which surely isn't worthy of opening up a Saturday afternoon fixture. It is difficult to build a compelling case for any of these eight runners, but SILVERLIGHT would appear the least exposed. She was runner up in this grade at Thirsk just last week, and whilst there might be some doubts as to her resolution, she should improve for that race and in fairness was meeting a much more experienced horse (and previous winner) in the shape of Tie Em Up Tel.
