Goes well with cut in the ground and was a C&D winner on good to soft in June, when rated 4lb lower. Has run well when upped in grade in two starts since then and should be capable of being very competitive at this level.
Yet to add to his Windsor maiden win (1m, good to soft) from last October but has run some good races in defeat this term, his best effort being at Sandown in June. Won't mind if the ground dries out and if the visor helps then he should go very close.
Came good at the fourth attempt in maiden company when winning at Tipperary (7½f, soft) in April. Switched from Henry de Bromhead to this yard before his latest effort at Thirsk, which was after a 9lb rise in the weights. Has a bit to prove on the strength of that form.
Another who has yet to add to a juvenile maiden win from last year, though on a positive note, he did run his best race so far this season over C&D (good to firm) two starts ago. A repeat should see him get competitive and he is not ruled out.
Capable performer on his day as he showed when runner-up at Newmarket (1m, good) in July. However, his last two efforts have been below par and connections now turn to blinkers to try help to spark a revival. Has a bit to prove but has the ability for this.
Gelded prior to the start of this season and has done well in three of his four runs. winning two of them, including over C&D (good) last time. Goes on both soft and good to firm too, so adaptable regarding conditions. 3lb higher now and in a stronger contest, so will need to pull out a bit more to follow up.

GLORIOUS FOREVER gets the nod in this competitive small field event. Ed Walker's gelding has been consistent this year despite not winning, he won't mind the conditions or indeed if they dry out and the first-time visor might just help to give him the edge. Fire Brigade is respected, along with Mutawakked, while Sidewinder loves it here and should be competitive from this mark, particularly if the ground dries up a bit.
