Went well over C&D in May (good) and next time at Bath, after which he went up 1lb. Not quite as good on is last two starts, but now dropped to 1lb below is run here and and if he is in that mood again then he has claims.
Has been thereabouts in all his last five starts, including two over C&D. 1lb lower than when beaten less than 2L last time and unlikely to be far away again.
Won over 6f here fast ground last year when racing from the same mark and returns to turf for only the second time since, the latest being a 7L defeat in better company at Newmarket, for which he has been dropped 5lb. If the rains stay away then he should be on the premises again.
Races over his optimum trip and has been in good form this term, winning a couple of races at Hamilton. Acts on any ground with good in the description and was beaten just 1L from this mark last month, so another who should get competitive.

Upavon (11/8), The Big Lad (2/1), Wiley Post (2/1), Taajub (7/2), Sandfrankskipsgo (9/2), Bronze Beau (11/2)
If the rain does not slow things too much then UPAVON looks to have decent claims of following up his win at this venue in August of last year and is the suggestion. The Big Lad would have claims if in the same form as he was here in May, while Bronze Beau and Wiley Post are the other pair who should be in the shake-up.
