Put in a nice performance when third on debut at Goodwood (6f, good) but stepped up markedly on that when finishing fourth of 15 in a Listed contest over 7f at Royal Ascot (good-to-firm) last time out. One for the shortlist here.
Unraced son of Planteur. Cost connections €28,000 as a yearling 12 months ago and is out of an unraced half-sister to a couple of classy middle-distance performers. Interesting to see how he fares here.
Beaten 13L into seventh when making his debut over 7f at Newmarket (good-to-firm) last month. Others make more appeal in this contest.

The latter stepped up markedly on his debut form when finishing fourth in a hot contest at Royal Ascot last time and can claim second here with Il Primo Sole, who represents a leading yard here the selection to claim third.
